In a previous post I said, “Some want to push this idiotic fight over Obama’s birth. This is not the issue to focus on. You sound like “truthers” when you become “birthers”. And that is all becoming a place for them to shove anyone with concerns about these policies.
I’m really starting to think i need to get my hearing checked, because, “Obama was born in Kenya,” has begun to sound exactly like “Bush staged 9-11.” Especially when the corporate shill of a fake candidate with a comb over says it. (Yeah…I’m talking to you, Trump!)”
Well, as of today, he released it. I have a few points to make.
- Just to play conspiracy theorist’s advocate for a second: Nobody is discussing that the document cleanly scanned and presented to the media; has supposedly been sitting in a filing cabinet for 4 decades. How many of us even remotely connected to the practice of law; has ever done a records search and found a document of that age in such pristine condition, with such crisp type face, that scans so cleanly? And, yes, look at the angle of the document scanned supposedly from a register book.
- A humorous point going around tonight is that the Registrar’s signature spells Ukulele. [U.K.L. Lee] (You bats can chew on that for me, because I’m a year past giving a shit.)
- Obama held the damned thing from day one, knowing he would present it just as the noise got as loud as Trump made it. He just hung all of his fringe detractors with the rope he has been handing them from day one. I agree with the commenters over at Ace of Spades blog, that it was a calculated deception that he kept for the sheer purpose of making the first guy to actually gain traction in the media on the issue; look like a complete jackass. Trump was the Jackass.
- Trump narrowly escaped the egg on his face by jumping back and saying, “Ok, fine, but he was still a stupid student and hasn’t shown us school records.” (Paraphrased) Trump went out and immediately took credit in a shameless act of self promotion that included pitching the finale of his television show.
- Trump is just as big a media whore as Obama was on the campaign trail, if not worse. He is a shill handed to us by the media as their choice of candidate for us. Anyone fooled by the man is an idiot.
The problem with this entire issue is that the core problem remains, and has in fact become even more relevant that it was originally, getting worse each day which passes.
The prez was not forthcoming with proof of his “natural born” status at the time waaaay back in 2008 when our Congress actually took up the issue of McCain’s status in that regard because he was born on forign soil. Sort of. They affirmed that McCain actually is qualified to serve as the PotUS. No one has yet shown us that Obama is.
He may or may not be – and that is the entire point. He thumbed his nose at all us by offering an apparent forgery back when in the form of a short form CoLB. Then refused to allow anyone to display any proof of his birth, spending big bucks to thwart every effort to see it.
I don’t know why. There may be no one left alive who knows, but I can only offer two suggestions as to why he would block our certain knowledge that he is qualified to serve – either there is something (who knows what) on his birth certificate that he does not want to share with us OR he is simply so arrogant that he will never willingly give us what we want just because he doesn’t want to do it.
Either way, we still do not know if he is qualified to serve. He probably is, but if not it is a Constitutional crisis of unimaginable proportions. The whole mess should have been settled before the election.
If the offered document is proven to bas presented, then I’d actually like to see apology from the Donald and his “Birther” buddies. And, isn’t it just a little funny to you, that the exact same bunch of people seem to be at the head of every one of these conspiracy theories?
And no amount of proof against all of the bullshit about planes actually being nissiles, pillars being cut, depth charges in the basement, fuel nor burning steel et al, has been enough to shut the mouths of the bat shit whack jobs. So no evidence will be enough on this.
Trump was a leading proponent of the “Bush lied and people died” bullshit too. He has only jumped ship to this issue for the press it brings. and even if Obama is proven unqualified and we go through the process to impeach, Clinton proves that impeachment means jack shit.
